Teacher Tattle
This week’ s assembly is our chance to promote our ‘Free Rice’ challenge. Our aim, with the help of everyone in the school, is to provide 270,000 meals of rice to hungry children. In our assembly on Friday we are going to let the school know how they can do this through a powerpoint presentation and role play. The children have split into action groups to organise and prepare for this school wide challenge. They have managed to put this together in a few sessions showing how effectively they can work together. There has been a buzz of activity whenever we have been doing our extraordinary kids project. I wish I could capture this buzz and bottle it for other school activities! I’m guessing it is due to the hands on type action and that it is authentic learning with a very impressive outcome.
