Book Sell-the day my bum went physco

Farts, bums and toilet talk that's what year 4, 5 and 6 boys like.

This is a book that makes me fall to the ground with laughter every time I read this book by Andy Griffiths. This book is about a boy called Zack who`s bum goes physco and wants to be put on instead the head on a person in the bumcano, Zack tries to stop bums from taking over the world and get his bum back in the process with help from the bumcathers Elenor, Kisser, Smaker and Kicker armed with fluffy pink toilet seat covers to get to the bumcano in time!

Diwali! by Henry

It was really fun preparing the props for the assembly performance. It was really frustrating practising, going over things again and again and adding in important stuff right before the performance.

Henry Gymnastics

Village 22 and Room 8 have been going to gymnastics on Wednesdays for four weeks. In the photo on the left I am balancing a hula hoop on my arm and spinning it around and around for as long as I can. On the right Ben H and I are balancing on a beam while chucking an orange ball at someone on another beam. My scores were 3, 4, 3, 3+, 3+, 3, 3+, 4, 3, 3, 3+, 4-, 3, 4, 3-, 3+ with a total of 53+.

Student Led Conference

On Thursday the 10th of September, I had my Student
Led Conference. Also in my group were Jack Craig, Sara
h Baken and Sophie Marris. First, we started with a Maori Welcome called a Mihi. Next we presented a powerpoint which showed our parents what we did earlier in the year. My topics I had to talk about were Heroes and Sport. After that, we played a marimba song that we learnt from Mrs. Beauzenburg. Finally we showed
our parents our learning folders, which contained some work that we also did earlier that year.
My favourite part was being alone with my parents and showing them the things we had done. Over all, it was a great chance to amaze our parents with our work.

I ran quickly and quietly up the the winding stairs away from the noisy crowd.
The sight that met my eyes froze me to the spot as I stared...

The Hydroslides were packed with people waiting to go twisting and turning all the way to the bottom. I slowly walked into a corner and stared down the slide. Eagerly watching, I saw someone jump into the slide and zoom away around a corner. I was still standing there, anxiety taking over as I joined the line to go down the terrifying slide. I slowly edged closer, realising it was not so bad after all. As I crouched and slid onto the platform, the light went green so I pushed off and zoomed away and into pitch black darkness. After a few minutes I saw light straight ahead, the end of the slide, the way to freedom.
